I made some mushroom and broccoli tempura the other night.

Ingredients For tempura batter

1 c flour
-
1 t cornstarch

3/4 beer.. any kind.. darker will be more beer flavor

salt and pepper taste or szechuan pepper
How To Make tempura batter

1blend all the dry ingredients together then pour in the beer.. whisk until dry ingredients are blended.. Let set for about 30 minutes. Dip in bite sized bits of vegetables into the batter and fry at 350 to 360 degrees f. Fry until golden keep warm in oven until ready to serve.
