Ingredients For oriental sweet and sour chicken (or pork)

1 can16 oz. chunk pineapple in juice

1 1/2sweet onion, quartered

1each red and green pepper, cubed

4 Tbspquick tapioca

2/3 cbrown sugar

1/3 cwhite sugar
-
2/3 cred wine vinegar
-
2 Tbspsoy sauce
-
2 tspchicken boullion granules

1 tspgarlic powder or minced garlic

4 Tbspfresh gtated ginger

2 tspdried cilantro
-
3chicken beasts, boneless, skinless cubed

3egg yolks
-
3 Tbspcornstarch
-
1 1/2 Tbspwater

salt and pepper
How To Make oriental sweet and sour chicken (or pork)

1Saute first 3 ingredients in medium saucepan on low heat until tender, ( drain pineapple and save juice)

2add next sauce ingredients, the tapioca down the list including the pineapple juiuice you saved down thru the cilantro. cook until thick. keep warm

3combine egg yolks, corn starch salt and pepper,and water, dip chicken or pork pieces in it and fry in vegetable oil 5 minutes.

4serve meat and sauce over hot steamed rice.
