Ingredients For oriental cashew chicken

2 lgchicken breasts, boneless and skinless

1 tspsalt

1/4 tsppowdered ginger
-
1/4 tspac'cent powder
-
3 Tbspoil
-
1/2 cwater
-
1 Tbspsoy sauce
-
2 tspcornstarch
-
1 tspbrown sauce
-
1 clovegarlic
-
1/2 ccelery, cut diagonally
-
1/2 cgreen onions, cut 1
-
1 canwater chestnuts
-
1 csalted cashew nuts
-
1/2 tspsugar
-
6 mdservings of cooked rice, per package directions
How To Make oriental cashew chicken

1Cut chicken into bite size pieces and sprinkle with salt, ginger, and ac'cent.

2Heat oil in heavy skillet and add chicken. Stir and toss rapidly. (can also use wok) (Do not overcook or brown meat. Cook until it loses its pink color.

3Add 1 clove garlic (thinly sliced), onion, and celery.

4Sprinkle with sugar and cook all together about 5 minutes. Vegetables should retain their crispness.

5Add water chestnuts and continue to stir together.

6Combine cornstarch, water, soy sauce, and brown sauce. Pour over meat and vegetables. Cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 2 minutes.

7Add cashew nuts. Add soy sauce and salt to taste preferences. Serve over hot cooked rice. Enjoy! :)
