Ingredients For beef chop suey

2 pounds cubed beef

6 - 8 stalks of celery (diced)

1 large onion (diced)

2 cans bean sprouts (drained)

1 jar button mushrooms (or sliced)

1 can sliced bamboo shoots
-
1 can baby corn
-
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
-
4 beef bullion cubes
-
4-5 tbs. 'bead of molasses' (to desired taste)

season with salt/pepper , garlic powder (to desired taste)

5 cups water
-
2-3 tbs corn starch
-
4 cups of cooked rice

soy sauce (to taste)
How To Make beef chop suey

1In large dutch oven brown cubed beef in 2-3 tbs cooking oil...add 3 cups water , slow boil 20 minutes ... add dry onion soup mix, celery, onion ... bring to slow boil , cook covered for approx. 20 mintues (stirr in between time) ... add the remaining 2 cups of water with beef bullion cubes... add bean sprouts, mushrooms, bamboo shoots , baby corn , cook 15 minutes (stirr in between time) ... add molasses ... stirr well ... lower heat and slowly add corn starch to desired thickness. Season to taste. Serve over cooked rice with Soy sauce
