Ingredients For bang bang shrimp

  • 1 lb
    shrimp, (small, 51 to 60 per pound) shelled and de-veined
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c
    thai sweet chili sauce
  • 3 to 5 dash
    hot chili sauce, a few drops or to taste (sriracha)
  • 3/4 c
    cornstarch, to coat the shrimp

How To Make bang bang shrimp

  • 1
    Mix mayo and sauces in a medium bowl. Set aside.

    Dredge shrimp in cornstarch.
  • 3
    Deep fat fry the shrimp until lightly brown.
  • 4
    Drain on paper towel, put shrimp in a bowl and gently toss with the sauce.

    Serve in a lettuce - lined bowl or cup. Top with chopped scallions.
