Ingredients For alan's kyoto orange chicken

1 corange juice

1/3 csoy sauce

1/4 cfirmly packed brown sugar

1 1/2 Tbspcornstarch

3 Tbspvegetable oil

3 lbboneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into one nich cubes

2 Tbspfresh grated orange rind
-
1 tspground ginger
-
1/4 tsphot sauce
-
4scallions cut into 1/4 inch slices

1 can(8 oz) sliced water chestnuts, drained

2oranges peeled seeded and cut into pieces
How To Make alan's kyoto orange chicken

1Combine first 4 ingredients. Stir until sugar and cornstarch disolve. set aside

2Pour oil into preheated wok and bring to medium high (325.)

3add chicken and stir fry 2 minutes. Add grated orange rind, ginger and hot sauce - stir fry 2-3 minutes

4add orange juice mixture, green onions and water chestnuts. Stir fry 3 minutes until thickened. Stir in ornage sections and stir until warm. Serve over hot rice.
