1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
1/2 cup rice (raw)
1 small onion (grated)
2 eggs
2 teaspoons salt (divided)
3/4 teaspoon Freshly ground pepper (divided)
1 large onion (sliced into thin half moons)
15-16 ounces canned tomato sauce (two 8-ounce cans or one 15-ounce can)
2-28 ounce cans tomatoes with their juice
2 medium-large lemons - Juice
1/2 cup light brown sugar (gently packed)
