Salt and pepper, for seasoning the chicken
1 medium onion, finely minced
4 garlic cloves, chopped
4 tablespoons tomato paste
1 - 28-ounce can diced tomatoes
1 cup coarsely chopped olives
2 tablespoons each: capers and balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon each: chopped rosemary and oregano
A pinch of red pepper flakes
