Ingredients For irish peas

  • 3 lbs. fresh peas in the pod, shelled
  • I to 3 sprigs mint
  • I tsp. sugar
  • Boiling salted water
  • I Tbs. butter or margarine
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How To Make irish peas

  • 1
    Cook peas, mint, and sugar in water until peas are tender, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain; stir in butter, salt and pepper.
