INGREDIENTS
3-6 lbs. beef chuck roast, fat trimmed and cut into large chunks
1 Tbsp vegetable or canola oil
1 ½ tsp onion powder
1 ½ tsp garlic powder
1 ½ tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp paprika or smoked paprika
2-4 cup beef stock, (2 cups stockfor 3 lbs. beef roast or 4 cups stock for 6 lbs. beef roast)
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
3 sprigs fresh thyme
3 whole garlic cloves, peeled
1 large yellow, white or red onion, cut into large chunks
4-5 large carrots, peeled and cut into large chunks
1 ½ lbs Baby Yukon or red potatoes, whole
¼ cup water
2 Tbsp corn starch
