INGREDIENTS
12 large egg yolks
1 large egg
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons anise or almond extract
2 quarts canola oil for deep-frying
2 cups honey
