4 cups (1 L) all purpose flour (approx)
8 cups (2 L) water
5 tbsp (75 mL) baking soda
1 large egg yolk
2 tbsp (30 mL) water
Coarse salt
2 tbsp (30 mL) Ontario butter
2 tbsp (30 mL) all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) 2% Ontario milk, warmed
2 cups (500 mL) shredded Ontario old cheddar
1/2 tsp (2 mL) each salt and pepper
