Homemade Nutri-Grain Bars

INGREDIENTS
1 cup almonds
1 cup gluten free oats
1 cup white whole wheat flour
1 egg (I used a flax egg replacement)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup applesauce
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup coconut oil
2 T milk (I used oat milk)
salt to taste
For the filling:
Your favorite fruit spread or 12 medjool dates blended up into a caramel with a bit of water
