1⁄4 cup olive oil
5 -6 cloves garlic, minced
1 1⁄2 teaspoons fresh thyme
1 1⁄2 teaspoons fresh oregano
2 -3 bay leaves
salt, to taste
pepper,(make additional marinade if needed)
assorted root vegetables (optional)
