Unbaked 9-inch pie crust (I use Pillsbury frozen deep dish pie crusts)

3 eggs
•
1 cup dark corn syrup (light is just fine! I used it for this one)
•
1 cup sugar
•
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
•
1 teaspoon vanilla
•
1/8 teaspoon salt
•
1 cup pecans, whole or chopped (my family prefers chopped)
