1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 cup molasses
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
4 large eggs, separated
1/4 cup granulated sugar
Spiced Whipped Cream Filling and Topping:
2 cups whipping (heavy) cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup confectioner’s (powdered) sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Small amount of ground cinnamon for sprinkling
