2 1/4 cups all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon allspice

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon cocoa powder
•
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
•
2 teaspoons ground ginger
•
1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted then brought to room temperature
•
3/4 cup dark molasses
•
3/4 cup sugar
•
1 large egg
•
1/2 cup buttermilk
•
1/2 cup whole milk
•
CINNAMON GLAZE
•
1 cup powdered sugar
•
3-4 tablespoons milk (this will depended on how thick or thin you want your glaze)
•
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
