INGREDIENTS
Peach Filling:
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 large egg yolk, slightly beaten
• 1 (1 pound, 13 ounce) can sliced peaches, undrained
Yeast Dough:
• 3 3/4 to 4 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1 (1/4-ounce) envelope dry yeast (Fleischmann's recommended)
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 cup (2 sticks) margarine, cut into 8 pieces
• 4 large egg yolks, at room
temperature
Vanilla Frosting:
• 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
• 3 cups confectioners' sugar
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 3 tablespoons cream
