INGREDIENTS

1+1/2 cups wheat bran*

1 cup buttermilk
•
1 egg
•
1/2 cup vegetable oil (or 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled)
•
1 teaspoon vanilla
•
1 cup self rising flour
•
3/4 brown sugar (Dark or light, your preference. Use 1 cup if you prefer them sweeter)
•
1/2 cup dried cranberries
•
1 cup chopped nuts - I'm using walnuts.
