1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste or pure vanilla extract
2/3 cup peach, pear or apricot jam (jelly or preserves)
4 pears, cut into thin slices
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
