I found this recipe in the 80's and everyone seems to enjoy them. I believe this is my favorite cookie.

Ingredients For snickerdoodles

1 cbutter, softened

1 1/2 csugar

2 lgeggs

1 tspbaking soda

2 tspcream of tartar

1/2 tspsalt

2 3/4 cflour

1 csugar

1 tspcinnamon
How To Make snickerdoodles

1Mix butter and eggs together in a mixing bowl until fluffy. Add the eggs, soda, cream of tartar and salt, beat. Add the flour and mix slowly until it is all mixed in.

2Put the 1 cup of sugar and cinnamon in a flat pan or container( that way you can put several cookies at a time in the container) and mix together. Using a cookie scoop or a teaspoon, drop each piece of cookie dough into the cinnamon mixture and roll around until coated. Put the cookie on a parchment lined cookie sheet(about 2" apart) and bake at 400 for about 10-12 minutes.
