This is my Mom's recipe. This is my Dad's favorite pie, also your Dad. If you think that it might be too strong, you can use the normal Karo syrup instead of the dark.

Ingredients For pecan pie

  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    dark karo syrup
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 1 c
    pecan halves
  • 1
    unbaked pie shell

How To Make pecan pie

  • 1
    In a medium bowl, mix the butter and sugar together. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well. Pour this mixture in an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
