super healthy smoothie(berries, greens and flax!)

A friend turned me on to smoothies with greens added a couple of years ago. Since, I've experimented with different combinations. This is one of my favorites! Such a tasty way to get more greens in your diet...trust me, you CANNOT taste them! And, with berries, flax and yogurt, this is a healthy meal in a glass!

Ingredients For super healthy smoothie(berries, greens and flax!)

  • 1
    banana
  • 1 c
    frozen berries(i like strawberries and blackberries)
  • 1
    handful of baby spinach leaves
  • 1
    small handful of parsley sprigs
  • 2 Tbsp
    plain yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground flax
  • 1/2 c
    apple juice or coconut water(the pineapple variety is good!)
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make super healthy smoothie(berries, greens and flax!)

  • 1
    Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
