A twist on the mango lassi that uses fresh papaya and it's flavored with a bit of cardamom.

Ingredients For papaya lassi

  • 2 sm
    ripe papayas
  • 2 cups
    plain yogurt
  • 4 to 5
    green cardamom, crushed to a powder (discard outer pod)
  • 4
    ice cubes
  • suger (or powdered jiggery), as desired for sweetening

How To Make papaya lassi

  • 1
    Peel the papayas and remove seeds. Cut papaya into 1-inch cubes.

    Add papaya chunks, crushed cardamom and sugar to a blender, and blend for 10 seconds. Add the yogurt and ice cubes, and blend again until smooth.

    Divide among 3 glasses, add a straw to each glass, and serve immediately.
