We love these smoothies on those busy mornings and for a pick me up during the day.

Ingredients For cherry-banana smoothie

  • 2 c
    fresh or frozen cheries
  • 2 md
    bananas
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 6 oz
    blended cherry yogurt
  • 1 c
    vanilla yogurt
  • 1 1/2 c
    vanilla soy milk (or regular milk + 1/2 tsp. vanilla)
  • 1/2 tsp
    almond extract

How To Make cherry-banana smoothie

    Pit the cherries and remove the stems.
  • 2
    Cut the banana into chunks.
  • 3
    Place all the ingredients in a blender.
  • 4
    Blend until smooth.
  • 5
    Pour into glasses and serve.

    I use fresh cherries when they are available. When they aren't, I use frozen.
