Ingredients For rainbow soda

  • 1 qt
    rainbow sherbet ice cream
  • 2 l
    sprite, or any other citrus soda

How To Make rainbow soda

  • 1
    Store the rainbow sherbet ice cream at room temperature for 5-10 minutes.

    Dump the rainbow sherbet ice cream into a large bowl.

    Use a butterknife to cut the rainbow sherbet ice cream in half. Keep one half in the bowl and set the other half aside.

    Use the butterknife again to cut the rainbow sherbet ice cream that is in the bowl into 5-15 fairly equal chunks.

    Use the back of a spoon or a potato masher to turn the rainbow sherbet ice cream that you set aside into "soft serve." (this might be soupy)

    Add 1/4 of the 2 liter bottle of soda to the smooth rainbow sherbet ice cream.

    Add 1/2 of the remaining soda to the chunky rainbow sherbet ice cream. (dont stir)

    Add the rainbow sherbet/soda mixture to the chunky rainbow sherbet/soda mixture, and stir lightly.

    (If desired, add the rest of the remaining soda to make it thinner)

    Put in a serving bowl and enjoy! (this is great at parties!)
