Everyone knows Peeps, those overwhelmingly sweet little marshmellow critters that appear every Spring in the grocery store. Put your leftover Peeps to good use this Ostara, and make them into a delicious ambrosia salad! For the most colorful results, use blue and pink Peeps.

Ingredients For ostara peep ambrosia and punch

  • PEEP AMBROSIA
  • 12
    12 marshmellow peeps ( 6 chicks and 6 bunnies)
  • 2 can
    mandarin oranges
  • 2 can
    pineapple tidbits
  • 1 jar
    maraschino cherries
  • 4
    chopped bananas
  • 2 c
    shredded coconut flakes
  • 4 oz
    sour cream
  • 1
    12-oz tub of cool whip
  • OSTARA PUNCH
  • 2 l
    7 up
  • 1 pt
    vanilla ice cream (use melon baller)
  • colorful candy sprinkles
  • all the reserved juices

How To Make ostara peep ambrosia and punch

    Dice the Peeps into small pieces. Drain the juices from all the fruit. Mix all ingredients together, and allow to chill in the refrigerator for a few hours. Serve as dessert following your Ostara celebration.

    OSTARA PUNCH! With the left over juice why not make an OSTARA punch. Mix all the fruit juices together and add 1 (2 liter) bottle of 7 up. Put into a punch Bowl and top with vanilla ice cream by melon baller and sprinkle candy sprinkles over top
