Even if you don't like cider, you'll want to cook up some of this for the wonderful holiday smells that will permeate your house. If you do like cider, you'll love this recipe. I carry this to office Christmas potlucks in a crockpot and never bring any home.

Ingredients For mulled cider (sallye)

1 galapple cider or apple juice

4 ozcinnamon bark (or sticks)

4 ozwhole cloves

4 ozallspice

4 ozorange peel

1 dashcinnamon oil

1 dashorange oil

1 ozlemon peel
-
1 pinchcoriander seed (optional but adds oomph)
How To Make mulled cider (sallye)

1Bring juice to simmer stage Place spices in a tea ball or tie in a cheese cloth square Add spices to cider, turn off heat and steep for 15-30 minutes

2Alternate: Pour cider into crockpot which is turned on to high Allow to come to simmer Turn down to low, drop spices into crockpot and leave setting on "serve" It will generally last throughout a buffet dinner.

3To reheat, pour into cup and zap in microwave for about 30 seconds.
