As my family was growing up, I wanted our children to enjoy Christmas & New Years, as I did as a child. My Mother & Grand Parents started us a Family Tradition on Christmas Eve, every year. We had a table full of Finger-Foods, special appitizers and sweets and this Punch. Back then, all the aunts, unncles and cousins came too. Each brought 1 item they had made and we put numbers on them and sat them beneath the Tree. After the munching, we drew numbers and that was the gift you got. It was exciting to see what all was under the tree as gifts. My favorite gift was cookies!!!

    vanilla ice cream
  • 1 qt
    orange sherbert
  • 1 can
    crushed pineapple, do not drain.
  • 2 bottle
    7-up

How To Make familys' favorite holiday punch

  • 1
Set out ice cream & sherbert a little while before you start to make this. Get out a punch bowl or I use the largest bowl I have.
  • 2
Open the can of pine apple and 7-Ups.
  • 3
I start with the ice cream. I put it into my bowl. And then I put in the sherbert. next, the pine apple and last the 7-ups. I use 1 bottle first. Save the other for later on to revive it.

Later in the evening, add the other 7-Up to make it go further and to wake up the texture. You can use other flavors of sherbert. We just like the orange the best!
