This was a perfect punch to serve up for the chili cook-off I had this past weekend. I must say that it disappeared more quickly than I had anticipated. I did enjoy using the very large pumpkin that cost me $8 dollars at a local pumpkin patch and placing the mist maker inside to give it some color and the mist that drifted off it was just beautiful.

How To Make apple cider punch

Clean out your pumpkin very well. Make it as smooth as possible on the inside so you don't have any pumpkin pulp floating in your punch. Then begin adding all your ingredients that have been chilled overnight in the refrigerator. This pumpkin easily held the 2 gallons of punch that I made. Don't forget to add your ice so that your punch can go a little further and remains nice and cold.

I purchased this mist maker at a local Halloween shop but I am sure you can get them online too. It is easy to add this directly down into your punch bowl. Just lightly drop it down into your punch on the side and adjust it so that it is not hit while dipping out punch for glasses.

Now, if it is just a little darker in the room the mist will show up much better but the colorful lights that are part of the mist maker are fun too. It is an array of different colors that blink while the mist is being made. Lots of fun for a party of any sort.
