How about a bit of Sangria for the Holidays!

Ingredients For sangria

  • 1 bottle
    dry red wine (hearty burgundy), 750 ml
  • 1 c
    fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 c
    fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 c
    superfine sugar
  • 1/4 c
    triple sec (orange-flavored liqueur)
  • 2
    oranges, sliced
  • 2
    limes, sliced

How To Make sangria

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients except sliced fruit in a large bowl or pitcher. Cover and refrigerate until well chilled, about 2 hours or overnight. Fill a large pitcher with ice, add sliced fruit, then pour in Sangria over fruit and ice. Makes 5 servings without ice.
