What a delicious and refreshing drink for a hot summer day. I used plain goat yogurt in this. It gave it a different flavour from using cow's milk yogurt which we liked. This is very thick. I put my ice cubes right into the blender, but you can just pour the lassi over the ice too.

Ingredients For mango lassi

1 lgripe mango, peeled and flesh removed

1 1/2 cplain yogurt (i used goat)

1/2 cchilled filtered water

1 Tbspgranulated sugar subsitute (i used xylitol)

pinch of cardamom (optional)

ice cubes
How To Make mango lassi

1I got the original recipe from the South Beach Diet Taste of Summer Cookbook. In a blender combine everything but the ice.

2Blend until smooth.

3Pour the mango lassi over the ice cubes.
