Iced coffees are best made using a dark roast coffee, as the flavors of lighter roasts are muted by the cold temperatures, and by dilution from melting ice. The stronger flavor of a dark roast will come through best.

Ingredients For iced coffee

  • brewed coffee
  • OPTIONAL
  • flavored syrup (vanilla, raspberry. etc.)
  • sugar
  • creamer

How To Make iced coffee

  • 1
    Brew a pot of coffee using twice the usual amount of ground coffee or make coffee with half the amount of water.
  • 2
    Put ice tea spoon in tall glass.
  • 3
    Fill glass with ice cubes.
  • 4
    As soon as coffee is brewed, pour into glass.
  • 5
    Optional: add flavored syrup such as vanilla, raspberry or sugar/creamer.
