Ingredients For chocolate liqueur

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup water

1 1/2 cups vodka

2 tsp. chocolat extract

1/2 tsp. glycerin, optional

10 whole coffee beans, optional
How To Make chocolate liqueur

1In medium pan, mix the sugar and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Let cool to room temperature.

2Stir in remaining ingredients til smooth. Funnel mixture into a glass bottle. Drop in the whole coffee beans (10 of them), if desired. Cover tightly.

3Let mixture mature for at least 2 weeks. Strain out the coffee beans if desired. This is not as thick as the professionally prepared version but delicious nonetheless. To add mocha nuances, drop 10 whole coffee beans into the steeping mixture
