ayran with rose water
(2 ratings)
I love ayran! It is wonderfully refreshing. I've prepared many renditions of this ayran recipe: replacing the rose water with orange blossom water, adding a pinch of ground cardamom, a light drizzle of pomegranate molasses...etc...Adapted from turkishcookbook.com. Note that this is not a sweet beverage, but you can add a little bit of honey or sugar, to taste to desired sweetness.
