Try this with 1/2 and 1/2 if you're watching calories/fat intake! As a child, visiting Vienna (Wien), I wasn't remotely interested in the coffee, so now as an adult, I have to make my own! Usually made with strong coffee!

Ingredients For viennese coffee

  • 1/2 c
    cream
  • 8 oz
    semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 8 c
    brewed coffee
  • whipped cream
  • ground cinnamon

How To Make viennese coffee

  • 1
    Bring 1/2 cup cream to simmer in large saucepan. Reduce heat to low.
  • 2
    Add chocolate and stir until melted and smooth. Gradually whisk in coffee.

    Ladle coffee mixture into cups. Top with dollops of whipped cream. Sprinkle cream with cinnamon and serve.
