Ingredients For tamarind drink

1/4 cup tamarind paste,

1 cup water, warm

2 1/2 cups water, cold

1/2 lime, juiced

1/2 cup sugar, white (or to taste)

1/4 tsp salt, fine
How To Make tamarind drink

1Combine the tamarind paste with 1 cup of warm water, cover and let sit at room temperature for 1 - 2 hours.

2Next you will want to strain the liquid; stirring until all liquid has been strained and seeds removed.

3Into a pitcher, add the tamarind mixture, water, lime juice, white sugar and salt; stir well, taste, adjusting sugar if necessary and chill until ready to serve.

4When ready to serve, add ice to glasses and enjoy.
