5cardamom pods, cracked

2whole cloves

61 inch pieces of cinnamon stick

6 Tbspsugar ot to taste

6 Tbspcoffee, regular grind
How To Make masala coffee (india)

1Combine water and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add cinnamon, cardamom pods, sugar and coffee into boiling liquid in saucepan.

2Stir a few times and boil over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes. Make sure it does not boil over.

3Strain coffee through cheesecloth or coffee filter into another pan. Keep a piece of cinnamon stick in each cup if desired. Place coffee over heat and bring to a boil.

4Pour coffee between two pans until thick and creamy. Serve in cups immediately.
