hot cranberry tea
(5 ratings)
This yummy, tasty drink is a tradition in our family during the holidays.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
A glass of this hot cranberry tea will be wonderful to curl up on the couch with on a cold day. It's not a traditional tea (there's no tea in the recipe), but reminds us of an herbal tea. Cranberry, orange, pineapple, and lemon juices, water, and sugar are the basis for the drink. Cinnamon candy pieces are a creative way to incorporate cinnamon flavor. Cloves also add warmth.

How To Make hot cranberry tea
Test Kitchen Tips
Cinnamon drop candies were not available for us. We used cinnamon disk candies as a substitute.
-
1Boil water, sugar, cloves, and cinnamon drops for 10 minutes or until the sugar and cinnamon drops are melted.
-
2Add cranberry juice and the remaining juices. Heat through and serve. This will keep well in the fridge for a long time.
