I grew up on a cattle ranch, 40 miles from the nearest grocery store. We made do alot, but the Schwan's delivery man did stop by once a month to make sure Dad's ice cream supply didn't run out. In the early '90's Mom bought a case of frozen lemonade from him and this recipe was on the box. It's been a family tradition ever since.

Ingredients For holiday cranberry slush

  • 3- 8oz. can
    jellied cranberries
  • 8 oz
    frozen cranberry-apple drink concentrate
  • 16 oz
    frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1 tsp
    allspice, ground
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 4 c
    water
  • 3 l
    lemon-lime carbonated soda
  • rum or vodka (optional)

How To Make holiday cranberry slush

  • 1
    Place jellied cranberries in mixer bowl, beat til smooth. Add concentrates and spices.

    Mix on low speed until smooth.

    Pour into one gallon bucket with lid. Add water and mix.

    Cover and freeze 2 hours. Mix again. Freeze 8 hours or overnight.

    To serve: put a big scoop into a glass and fill with lemon-lime soda. Mix and enjoy!
