In the amount of time it would normally take to microwave the water, mix in the packet, and let it cool enough to be drinkable, I made real hot chocolate. It’s so, so easy. And especially tasty when you have made it yourself, I promise. And don’t forget to enjoy the fruits (chocolates?) of your labor. Because homemade doesn’t have to be tedious. But don't let it sit too long before drinking it - the chipotle gets stronger the longer you wait!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Warm, thick, and creamy, this hot chocolate is everything it should be. What makes this a little more "grown-up" is that it isn't overly sweet and has a touch of spice. The nutmeg and chipotle flavors are faint and just the right touch. Orange zest is the perfect complement to the other flavors. A special homemade hot chocolate.
