gail's iced tea/hot tea

My sister thinks there is a big secret to making my tea but it's not. The main thing is not to get it too sweet and mix it while it's hot. This tea seems to be just right.

Ingredients For gail's iced tea/hot tea

5 cwater divided

3lipton, tea bags, regular size

slight 2/3 csugar, just below 2/3 cup mark
How To Make gail's iced tea/hot tea

1Bring 2 1/2 cups water to boil in small saucepan

2Add 3 regular sized Lipton Tea Bags. Let boil for 3 minutes.

3Cover and let steep for 1-2 minutes.

4Add sugar to 2 qt pitcher.

5Pour in hot tea. Stir well.

6Add the remaining 2 1/2 cups of water. Stir well.

7Cover until ready to serve over ice and lemon, if desired. Good as a cup of hot tea, too!
