Ingredients For camper's boiled coffee

    egg,slightly beaten
  • 1
    eggshell, crushed
  • 1/2 c
    cold water
  • 1/2 c
    coffee, regular ground
  • a few grai
    salt
  • 6 c
    freshly boiling water

How To Make camper's boiled coffee

    Rinse the coffee pot or a saucepan that has a tight cover with hot water to heat it Mix the first 5 ingredients in the pot, add the boiling water and stir thoroughly. If using a coffee pot, stuff the spout with soft paper to prevent the escape of the fragrant aroma.

    Over moderate heat, bring slowly to the boiling point. Simmer 3 minutes, then add 1/2 cup cold water to help clearing.

    Pour carefully into cups. If keeping warm, use low heat to keep the coffee from boiling.
