When I traveled the the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Orlando's Universal Studios, I tried butterbeer for the first time. It has a refreshing vanilla flavor with a hint of butterscotch flavor. I knew I had to make it at home. This recipe is so easy and literally takes 5 minutes to make. Perfect for preparing right before your favorite Harry Potter movie!

Ingredients For butterbeer

  • FOAM
  • 2 Tbsp
    heavy cream, cold
  • 1 Tbsp
    powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    butterscotch instant pudding
  • BEVERAGE
  • 1 1/2 c
    cream soda
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    butterscotch sundae syrup

How To Make butterbeer

    Chill glass mug or cup in freezer for 5-10 minutes.

    In a small bowl whip cream, sugar, and pudding mix until soft peaks form.

    Pour the cream soda and butterscotch syrup in your chilled mug or cup. Mix until combined. Spoon 'foam' on top of the soda and smooth out with a spoon. Serve immediately.
