Ingredients For blackberry iced tea with cinnamon, ginger-diabetic

12blackberry herbal tea bags ot to taste

3cinnamon sticks

1 Tbspminced fresh ginger

1/2 cunsweetened cranberry juice or more if you wish

sugar substitute, to taste

ice cubes or crushed ice

garnish: mint leaves and frest blackberries (optional)
How To Make blackberry iced tea with cinnamon, ginger-diabetic

1In a large pan, heat water to just before boiling. Add tea bags, 2 of the cinnamon sticks and ginger. Remove from heat, cover and let steep for 15-30 minutes.

2Pass the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, placed over a pitcher. Add the juice and sweetener to taste and refrigerate until very cold. To serve fill chilled glasses with ice and garnish if you like. Pour the tea over the top of the ice, Serve immediately and enjoy.
