This strawberry shake is really good anytime, but oh so refreshing on a hot day.

Ingredients For frosty strawberry- and- cream milk shake

  • 1 pt
    vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/2 c
    whole milk
  • 1 lb
    strawberries, fresh hulled and quartered
  • 2 tsp
    finely grated lemon zest

How To Make frosty strawberry- and- cream milk shake

    In a blender, puree the ice cream and milk until smooth. Pour into 4 glasses.

    Rinse out the blender. Add the strawberries and lemon zest and puree.

    Top the milkshake with some of the strawberries puree and serve.
