I use Turkey Hill Double Dunker Ice Cream. They do not sponsor or endorse me. Double Dunker is Coffee flavored ice cream with chocolate chip and cream filled chocolate cookie pieces swirled in. You can use my recipe to add whatever flavor or brand of ice cream you prefer. Strong , hot , black coffee is key to the recipe. I have used flavored coffee as well. Hint of Cinnamon is a favorite of mine. I brew my coffee in a French Press but a drip or pod machine will also work fine. Instant coffee will also work. Just use the same amount of coffee with 1/2 the usual water to brew by any method.

  • 1/2 c
    coffee, hot, strong, black
  • 1/2 c
    ice cream, double dunker flavor

How To Make double dunker "ice-creamed" coffee

    Brew your favorite coffee but use only 1/2 the water you usually use. Strong, hot and black is the goal here.

    Pour hot coffee into a mug to half full. More or less, it isn't rocket science or brain surgery. My mug holds 12 oz of coffee when full, so I'm pouring about 6 oz.

    Add ice cream to the coffee 1 Tbsp (I scoop it with a "flatware" tablespoon) at a time till the mug is full to just below the rim. Enjoy the "iced" beverage.
