This is such a nice digestif to have after your meal! It's the perfect hot cocktail to enjoy during the holidays...

Ingredients For spanish coffee

1lemon wedge
-
granulated sugar, for the rim as needed

1 ozcognac or brandy, or to taste
-
1 1/2 oztia maria, or to taste (substitute kahlúa)

6 ozhot coffee
-
whipped cream, as needed
-
1 lgmaraschino cherry
-
1 pinchground cinnamon (substitute ground nutmeg or baharat)
How To Make spanish coffee

1Cut a small slit in the lemon wedge and slide it around the rim of the glass. Dip the rim in granulated sugar and turn back and forth to coat well.

2Add Cognac, Tia Maria and pour in hot coffee. Top generously with whipped cream, sprinkle on some cinnamon and garnish with a cherry. Carefully wrap a serviette around the glass and enjoy! Makes 1 coffee
