This is a recipe I've adapted from other recipes I've found online. If you like pumpkin pie, you'll enjoy this, and you don't even have to turn the oven on.

Ingredients For pumpkin spice hot chocolate

  • 1-14 oz can
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 c
    whole milk
  • 1-15 oz can
    pumpkin puree
  • 1 Tbsp
    pumpkin pie spices
  • 2 stick
    cinnamon
  • 2 c
    heavy cream
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make pumpkin spice hot chocolate

    In 6qt Dutch oven over medium heat add your sweetened condensed milk, milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon sticks. Stir occasionally.

    Once warm, add in your chocolate chips and whisk until everything is combined and smooth.

    Reduce heat to low for 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently.

    Remove from heat, strain through a fine mesh sieve into a large bowl or pitcher.

    Add liquid back to the Dutch oven with the heavy cream and vanilla. Heat over low until you reach your desired temperature.

    Pour desired amount in glass and top with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice if desired.
