pumpkin spice hot chocolate
This is a recipe I've adapted from other recipes I've found online. If you like pumpkin pie, you'll enjoy this, and you don't even have to turn the oven on.

Ingredients
- 1-14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 6 cups whole milk
- 1-15 oz can pumpkin puree
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spices
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
How To Make pumpkin spice hot chocolate

Step 1In 6qt Dutch oven over medium heat add your sweetened condensed milk, milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon sticks. Stir occasionally.

Step 2Once warm, add in your chocolate chips and whisk until everything is combined and smooth.

Step 3Reduce heat to low for 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently.

Step 4Remove from heat, strain through a fine mesh sieve into a large bowl or pitcher.

Step 5Add liquid back to the Dutch oven with the heavy cream and vanilla. Heat over low until you reach your desired temperature.

Step 6Pour desired amount in glass and top with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice if desired.
