Ingredients For pruettkaffee (coffee brewed without machine)

  • 8 tsp
    coffee grounds
  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 pinch
    salt (optional)
  • 1 pinch
    cocoa powder, unsweetened (optional)

How To Make pruettkaffee (coffee brewed without machine)

    Place the coffee grounds in a coffee pot with a wide bottom.

    Bring the water to a boil and pour over the grounds.

    Add a pinch of salt and/or unsweetened cocoa powder if you wish.

    Stir, then let steep for about 10 minutes until the grounds have settled in the bottom.
